talon esi 420a into a gst is it possible?

alright so my dad and i have recently picked up a 96 talon esi with a bad body we have a chance to get a clean gst body with no motor or tranny is it possible to put a esi tranny and motor into this body? this will be my 1st car/project car so please give me your input

No just sell the 420 and pick up a 4g63t. You will be happy with the results.

No this is not possible. The left and right motor and trans mount are backward in the esi compared to the tsi.

It's hard enough to do the RS/GS -> GST Swap. An even worse idea would be GST -> RS/GS.

If you have a Talon ESi find an Eclipse RS or GS that has a bad engine. They can be had for 350-800$ around where I live and are much more common than GST or GSX.
