2G Tail light mod

I was wondering if anyone has ever modified their tail lights to look kinda like an Aston Martin dbs on here and would be willing to explain how they did such a task. I'll post the picture below of what I mean exactly. Also with the Eclipse lettering being the only thing that is lit up in the middle.

Looks like most people who do this simply paint their lights.

If I ever get back to the point where I can start doing aesthetic mods again, that second video is similar to what I have in mind. Maybe LED tails, maybe the factory bulbs, but I'd install LED strips around the outside perimeters of the lights and top and bottom of the center panel and go after a Challenger-inspired look for DRLs. Adding lights is usually okay in my book but blocking the lights/making them dimmer is always no bueno no matter what.
