Tach signal for Maft

I am trying to hook up my tach signal on my maft and I know that it either needs to go to pin 58 or pin 4 but I was wondering if anyone knew where either of those wires where under the hood to make it easier?

Pick up the tach signal right off the power transistor where it's generated.

yea ive been searching all morning and finally found where the plug in is for the power transistor dang that was a hard search

I guess it would have been easier if you had the factory service manual. There you would have known where it was and which wire.
