t25 out of control but cobra beat!!!

You werent there my was and can prove I beat him. I didnt destroy him but I did walk him on the top end. Plus whatever your smoking please stop cause a stock dsm has kick ass top end maybe not as much a 16g but still my car pulled hard as hell.

point being if you dont believe me then dont talk bs. I offered to race the local guy fropm 4th at 40mph but no reply. I was wi.lling to back up my claim but no you tards had to repsond with bs stories. Now its too late cause I have installed my b16g but whatever. No wonder why this site is going bad. Oh and the 99 cobras ran high 13s-low 14s STOCK so with what I thought he had which I MAY BE WRONG!! he should be at mid to high 13's. I had at the time pretty much all the bolt ons ALOT of support abnd a couple of other things that usually dont get done the 2g dsm's i.e. 1g tb 1g intercooler and ported intake mani. so my top end was pretty decent and yes the t25 held 13psi til 6.2k.

I have beaten a modded cobra before from a dig on the t25. Its hard to believe that you beat one from 40mph in 4th gear. Maybe the Cobra didn't downshift?

If you dont know what t25 run stock then you definatly cant attest to thier top end:rolleyes: . I was running 15 psi and it held 13-14psi which they usually run down to 10psi after 5k. stock they usually boost about 10-11 maybe 12psi.

Obviously you have never driven a GST, your used to the shitty top end of an AWD.

Yes it is significant, AWD drivetrain loss is a bi*** after 90MPH.

Just to show you an example of this , I saw a WRX STI vs 3.2 TL Type-S, you would think the WRX would have won due to more horsepower, nope the TL was ahead 2 cars and the WRX couldn't pull anything back.

I have raced a GSX with just a cat-back like me and have put 2-3 cars on it to 110mph.

thank you I raced a modded 1g and he was faster than me at the quarter but once we hit 60 I started pulling pretty hard. His 1g awd hauls ass too, I saw him before exhaust pull a best of 14.2 with a k and n and free mods. gotta love them 1g awd though.

yea i should have stopped, I apologize. It shouldnt have gone this far. who knows I wasnt there right? for all I know you could housed him. well good luck with your16g there awesome turbos :)

ok my car for some kind of reason was at 15psi stock I don't know if that is uncommon or not but the same was for my friends gsx. Ok now my friend with the 98 cobra which make about 5 less hp to the flywheel than a 99 put down 287whp and 310tq with long tube headers, 3inch exaust, cold air intake, msd ignition, 373 gears, and a clutch. I put down on the same dyno before I put my manual boost controller on and my 255 walboro pump and safc 221whp and 230tq. I would loose to him by like a fender before he got his gears. When he got the gears I got my boost controller (running 19psi) fuel pump and safc with some mild tunning and beat him three times in a row from stops by about a car and a fender. From a second gear roll he would pull on me a little but when I hit third I would just start pulling on him like crazy. I dunno how much power I am making now but all this is true and all of it is on my t25 which I still have on my car now.

without repling to the rest of your post...My can did the same thing on the t25. I would boost 14-15psi with the bcs restrictor in and no mbc. When was bone stock I was at 9psi at WOT. I dont know what was thwe problem but it boosted to 15psi with no controller...I think it had something to do with exhaust flowing ALOT more, having a bov thatll hold boost(my 1g boosted my psi from 9psi to 13psi without a controller) and hard ic pipes.

Boosted19 yeah I will enjoy my b16g...the thing is awsome with my mods it only spools a tiny bit slower than the t2small, and at 10-0 inhg it accelerates just like the t25 did at 5-7 psi part throttle.
