1G t-CASE

well a week ago my rear loced up on me i thought it was my diff but it wasent it was the T-case so i brought it to mitsubishi on a wensday and it is one week tomarrow so far how long does for them to put the new t-case in .o and this is the recall thanx guys

well it has bin a week and the are starting to give me the dealer crap.they are trying say they cant do it cause of the modded parts in the way. whats the only thing in the way the downpipe. and also they said they have to wait to a manager that come 2 times a month i think thats bunch of shit to. so i am gunna call again and bi*** once more so i hope i get it soon

well they can charge you for the labor of getting past aftermarket parts when doing that recall i do believe.. though not many dealerships do as its only an exhaust system. Cause the exhaust system is so hard to remove... especially with a lift.. and air tools.. they are waiting for the manager cause they want to see if they can charge you . they see $$

maybe... with lots and LOTS of b***hing and calling chrysler's recall center, and filing with the NHTSA, and calling chrysler's recall center again because the district service manager over the dealership STILL wont allow it, and then some mild threatening of lives.....................................BUT, in the end, you just may get it fixed.
They REALLY dont like having to do it on a vehicle that has "restrictions" on it. (prior salvage title)

well it ha bin 2 week now and they will have it 1 more week cause now they said that its taking them a week to get the t-case is this normal thanx i am getting realy mad very fast.

Mine took two. Then they had to order the seal for it, duh. Never suspected they might need that, too.

Still, I don't usually make $4000 in two weeks. Just wait it out.

Here is a horror story for you. A friend of mine went in for the recall, all he had was a leaky seal or yoke, nothing wrong with his T-case. The dealer changed his T-case, with a reman, within a week it blew, they wouldn't give him another one.

I have to get mine done soon too. Probably in the beginning of December.
I need they yoke fixed, the seal in fine. I will instruct them not to change the T-case at this point. I will let you guy know how I make out.

ok so today i fixed my t-case leak. and it worked yes but then i was taking it realy easy on my car and i made a turn in 1st and i heard my wheel skipping then i stop looked at my axels and they were in fine so then i drive in little bit more and it sounds like my axels are are boucing around but only in first. some one please help me i live for school tomarrow.thanx guys.....

ok today i fixed my t-case leak at the yoke and it worked i am happy now any time i make a turn my wheels skip and it shounds like my axels are boucing around in the back some one please help me

If you pulled one of your CV joints out sounds like it has gone back in wrong in the CV itself ( one of the balls has popped ). jack the car up put some stands under it an just let it idle in gear and look if they are spinning true! if you have AWD get all four off the ground!! before trying this.

well i dident do that cause the drive shaft would not spin so i took the diff out with thte axels in it and it would not spin so i drained all the gear oil andd it was ALOT OF METAL i mean alot so i think the diff is done thanx tho i just ordered a new one does any one have a 4 bolt for sale.
