First off, this car came with some flea-bay coil overs and stock shocks/struts. Needless to say it was a terrible ride. )one inch off ground(. Well I bought a shock/spring combo from Dropzone and installed new upper and lower poly shock mount bushings and the car still sits way too low and rode slightly better. I have contacted DZ and now they tell me they dont even make springs for a 2g awd:mad:nono: So be aware of that in the future. So now I got maxspeed coil overs and illumina shocks/struts but I am not sure if I have all the parts needed for a "right" install since the car came wrong from the get go. I was informed by DZ that the only diff was that it was gonna sit a little lower than it is supposed to. So I drove on them for a week because I had no choice. Well, last night I hit a little bump and now my driver side front shock ?rod? is sticking up 3 1/2 inches. bushing and all. I think that I installed these wrong (even though they were not for my car) because I did not have all the hardware from the begining. I guess I need to know if someone has a pic or list of all things needed to install the correct parts. I wrote this too so maybe this wont happen to anyone else. YOU DO PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET...........unfortunatly

by the way, I did not know these were for a fwd untill it was too late or I would never had installed them. I could just feel some flaming coming on and wanted to state that for the record:coy:

Thanks. does 7 8 9 10 all need to be there when going with my setup

IF you are piecing together a setup (i.e. KYB or Tokico with Eibach PRokit or H&R or whatever other spring separately), then yes, 7-9 must be there. 10 should be there too (bumpstop, may or may not need to be modified). If you are getting a complete coilover system (e.g. TEIN, D2, etc.) then no those parts don't have to be there because they are included with the coilover setup.

sounds like you may have forgotten/don't have the metal sleeve that goes on the top of the shaft (not shown in pic)

most coilover manufacturers don't necessarily specify that they're only for FWD or AWD; they will fit regardless

These were just lowering springs. and something broke I beleive that made it do that. and the fact that they were wrong to begin with
