Does ne1 have a supra smic...if so did they notice a difference? ease of intstallation? just sum general ideas im lookin to uprade from stock but cant afford a fmic

thanks nate

If you do a little searching you'll find that this is a good upgrade for the money(assuming to get it fairly cheap, no more than $150). It is easy to put on as well, you'll probably want some spare piping laying around though.

How much hp is the supra sidemount good for? Could it handle a 50 trim or 20g?

Easy to me is removing the old one and installing the new one with little or no other modifications required. The instructions I have read for installing a Supra SMIC on a DSM involve trimming the bumper, drilling holes, etc. That doesn't sound easy to me. Easy would be buying a SMIC from Dejon tool or ADFX.

Actually, a supra SMIC is a really easy install. I don't think it requires any trimming of the bumper. All you need to do is possibly widen the hole that the UICP passes through. Just cut away a little bit so that the pipe can pass through since it sits closer near the front of the car. This is really easy to do. :thumb:

I have the supra sidemount on my car. The install isn't that difficult, and I highly recomend it. It took a couple 10ths off my time and put me in the 8's, thats 1/8 mile of course.

Just thought I'd ask...

What year supra turbo SMIC are we talking about?

If its 1988-1991 Supra's then its easy for me to get one... would
this be a good investment?

Thanks
