Sorry if this is a noob question, but how well does the Supra SMIC perform? and does anyone have any pictures of it mounted on a 2G DSM? and one more question...what is involved in installing it? Thanks.

I just won one off of ebay. I should probably get it by the end of the week. From what I see on others posts that you will get good gains from it. Ill find out when I install it.

oh, what year of the intercooler from the supra do you guys recomend? or it doesnt matter?

supra guys have been getting 500 Crank Horse Power. I've noticed power gains when i got mine on there is a really good write up on vfaq.com i don't know if its as good as a FMIC just because of limited access that the intercooler has good luck with it

1993 and up. That's when they went to the 320 hp twin turbo model supra. Any
supra intercooler before 93 was some funky flat black snorkly looking thing. Not any good for our cars.

i was just saying from my buddies experience with the greddy fmic from a supra side mount. he told me he didnt really feel a diffrence and he wish he would have saved the money and got a little better fmic

i could be wrong on this but the 93.5 - Up was the only turbo supra that had a SMIC all others had a FMIC i beileve just thought i'd say. I know that the MKIII had FMIC and i'm almost 100% that the MKII had the intercooler frount mounted as well but yes the MKIV is the SMIC that you want it is a great and cheap intercooler upgrade best part is you don't have to spend 300 dollars on pipe like on a FMIC
