I am currently running a HX40 super with a jmfab forward facing manifold, tial 44mm external wastegate, and custom downpipe and all associated fittings and whatnot for sale or trade.
Turbo is in absolute mint condition. Oil feed and return are custom AN lines. Manifold is minty fresh. All parts have 1200 miles on them. Downpipe is custom pie cut made and looks pretty dope. Also has O2 sensor bung welded in immediately post turbo. Wastegate and dump tube are in great condition as well. A little heat fade on the wastegate housing but that is to be expected. Setup runs great, just not for what I’m trying to do with the car. Drag racing isn’t my thing. And that’s what this setup is primarily for. Previous owner stated a 10.40 in the car on a soft launch and pretty shitty 60’ time. I am inclined to believe him because my butt dyno says the car is F****** fast. Also setup dynoed 540 ish at 26 lbs. Previous owner also provided all documentation and receipts for parts that would go with the potential new owner.
As for price I’m not sure what to ask. Honestly I’d prefer a trade. But manifold alone costs 1450$ turbo is 1k brand new. Not to mention the downpipe and all the lines and fittings. So to be fair I’d like to see possibly 1800$ or best offer for a cash price.
Also have a half rad setup that can go with the snail setup to accommodate the space needed for a cleaner and usable setup. This thing takes up space. A lot of it.
If you have a 16g, 20g, or similar setup and are willing to trade me plus a bit of cash I’d be 100% down for that.
I’m trying to develop a decent auto x/ road race machine and the setup now is just way to laggy and “violent” for my purposes. I understand what I’m going from to what I want to go to. And it won’t make sense to some people. If you’ve ever truly road raced you’d understand the need for responsiveness and keeping parts cost “lowish” so I can have backups in the stable at a much better cost effective manner.
Lastly the entire setup looks dope as hell under the hood. And I have videos of the car running under this setup if anyone wants those.
