Well I went to the track last night for the first time and it was not good. I was taking logs and saving them but cant find them now. When I find them I will post them. My mods are at the bottom and I was pushing 17-18 lbs at the track and every single time I ran a 15.3 nothing more nothing less. Its like that is all she had. here are some times off the best ticket. Reation .3302
60ft 2.1858 330ft 6.2441 1/8et 9.8444 1/8mph 69.03 1/4et 15.3232 1/4mph 91.93. I am open to any suggestions. Im going to the track on more time before I deploy and it would be great to run some better numbers. Anything will help and when I get the logs posted let me know if you see anything wrong thanks a million.

Wow man thats pretty horrible... Maybe you just need to work on your launching and shifting etc. Do you know how to flat foot shift? In your mods it just shows you have fuel mods and stuff, do you have exhaust etc? fmic? anything like that? Its hard to give a diagnoses on such a small mod list, if thats all you have it doesn't really surprise me too much.

Your launch is not good at all in the AWD world of things.. You need to break into the 1.xx.. even a 1.99 would have gotten you into the 14s.. I have seen cars that should be very fast run slow because of the driver mod.. You have to shift very fast and be confident that you wont miss a gear.. My first time at the track i ran a 14.5.. I was disappointed but thinking your fast on the street isn't even close to being true on the track... You need to get a better 60 ft.. Try bouncing the rpms up and down around 5k.. Don't worry about the lights right now.. make sure your ready before you go... At a test and tune you should care less what you reaction time is.. You have v3 but you dont have a wideband?? You can make your car sooo much faster with a wideband..

I think you have a really bad boost leak, the other thing is how many miles are on your clutch i had similar mods when i went to the track the first time except i didnt have link, and smaller inj, and i ran a 13.6

Thanks for all the input and to answer some quetions: Yes my mods list is up to date I had and still have great plans for this car but I got orders for Iraq and I leave in December so I kinda quit ordering parts for now and will do the whole car when I get back. My AFR is set at 14.7 stoich WOT is 10.1 Im running the Evo VIII timming and fuel tables.

Since you have link, you can set you studder box. On the 14b I was cutting 1.81 60' launching at 5000rpm. Like mentioned before don't worry about the light and just concentrate on nailing that launch. From there just hit your gears. Seat time makes the biggest difference.

Thanks for all of the input once again and i think that it is great that yall are trying to help me. I am once again going to answer some more questions so maybe I can get some more input. I bought the car from an old man about a month or so ago so I have no idea how many miles are on the clutch. For all I know it could have 158000 just like the car. After a run down the track you can smell the clutch a little so im sure it may be impeding on my performance a little but I dont feel it slipping at all. My studder box is set at 4500rpm. Once again the fuel system is intended for a holset but I was told that I have other plans so I will finish it when I get back.

try raising the studder box to around 5 000.
it could get you a better 60 ft if your clutch doesnt decide to slip:thumb:

sound like the clutch is sliping to me you should be faster with the mods you have. and you sate you can smell the clutch. that would be the frist thing i would change when you get back.

Your running rich at wide open throttle. If you lean it out slightly your time should pick up some. I set my afr at 12:1 under wide open throttle. Most try and set theirs around 11:1 to be safe I suggest 11:1.

I will raise the studder box when I go back friday. Last chance I will have before my deployment. I will also break the exhaust loose and see what happens. sure it will help the stock exhaust has to be restrictive. It would be great if I could lean her out a little but I dont have a wide band therefore Im not going to adjust anything that I cant montitor cansistantly and acurratley. Thanks for all the input and they will all be taken into consideration.

I agree will most of the suggestions here. However I would say bring your two step up to around 6k. Also when you go to the track, take a lil fuel out. Id say no more than 5% should be fine. The exhust deal will help tremendously! If this is not your only car Id say be a lil harder on the clutch, meaning leave much harder. . . . . . And by the way, are using the no lift to shift? If you dont have that clutch wire hooked up and that no lift set up in link, that would be an exclent mod to do durring the week before you go on friday. Good luck and keep us posted on how things go!
