Thanks for all the help you guys provided. I got the engine out of my 90 gsx finally. I was having a hard time seperating the transfer case from the tranny, so the tranny was still on the motor.

So i pulled all 3 together. What i found made me laugh. I had all the bolts out like i thought. The input shaft had some rust on it, making it bind up a little on the way out, and underneath the car i couldnt pull straight out on it,was binding up on the tranny alignment pins. But i got it out and seperated. Gonna take the clutch assembly off and put the motor on a stand and look at the bearings and stuff. Im happy now.

At the moment im kind of at a stand still. No parts yet. While i have the car apart, and the hood was off i took it and started the body work /prep work. Im going to paint the car. It was black, but sat outside a lot before i got it, so it was faded pretty good. Now is the best time for a fresh coat of paint.
