Subaru STI bov for my 1G

So I got an Intercooler kit from a friend, and it has a stock sti blow off valve on it. Has anybody else used one on their setup? I just wanna know if their any good or not.

Looks like a 1g BOV with a subaru flange. I dont see any advantage with using that then your factory one.

Well it is an sti bov, im pretty sure a crushed 1g bov is better. but my friend said it ran great on his 92 awd.
