ok so i took off my intake, upper hardpiping and i cleaned the MAF with MAF cleaner, now i put it all back together and now it has a rough idle its stumbling pretty bad... it should liek it has some huge cams like 280's or something, i sprayed carb cleaner to check for vacuume leaks and theres nothing.... what can i do??!! the car seems to run fine. my clutch slips really bad so i cant try and WOT runs or anything

PS the reason i took the hardpiping of is ### i saw that where the silicone coupler connect to the SMIC it is rubbing against the side of the hole and is slightly cuting in to the coupler its not all the way through.

RESOLVED....got home and it worked fine

its some can i got from autozone it says MAF cleaner on it. but the car runs fine normal driving its only when i go to a stop and let it idle

um i believe it did have time to dry it was a few min after i cleaned it when i put it on. i dont have any air pump or anything to do a boost leak test :/ i dont know why it just started like that.

I cleaned mine one time and let it sit for a couple hours and that was the sh^ttiest ride home I ever had..take your maf off and take a blow drier to it..worked like a charm

Thanks i will try that. i did spray alot on it to clean it. i drove it around the block and it seemed to drive fine, just at idle it was crappy. it would dip down to like 4-500 then go up to 1100 all over the place

Ill let you guys know when I get home and check her out some more! Thanks guys keep the ideas coming they are really appreciated!!

oh sorry i need to up date that i just got the car. its a 95 GSX
