Strange things

There is a few things happening that i think i might know the answer to it yet here are the symptoms:

-At Idle 500-700rpms it goes quiet then all of a sudden you hear a loud whistle (like a tea pot)

-When I drive and let off the gas the Woosh is REALLY loud

-When I accelerate and let off the gas sometimes the car keeps going for another second .. as in, I let off the gas, then i watch my rpms fly up from 3-4.5 then it starts to go down..

-Also when im driving the stock boost guage (i have an aftermarket one too) but the stock one says im boosting, when i dont hear a thing.

And when my aftermarket one says im boosting you hear nothing but leaking air all the way up to 11 PSI then you hear nothing and you get full push.



I personally think that my stock IC pipe is leaking somewhere OR my BOV is screwed up (stock IC , stock 2g BOV right now)

I'd say you guessed right. Sounds like a boost leak. Do a pressure test and find it. Then you'll have a good excuse to upgrade your IC pipe and BOV.

The stock 2G bov is the biggest POS ever. along with teh rubber IC piping, I'm sure you have a leak, I know I do. I can't wait to get my FMIC back on.

the 2g BOV definately does suck, yet my problem with the 1g BOV is the fact that the ones I have tried in the past ive taken off because they have been annoying. One 1g bov was really bad, it whistled instead of woosh. And then one day it snapped.. . the Arm that you clamp down, one day the BOV just blew right off.


Also, i really want my car stock as possible. I plan to sell it soon. (if anyone here ones it, its auto tho.. still a damn good car)
