first off, my car burns oil, i think this noise is somehow related to it but not sure how. When i get around 2500rpm i start getting this wierd chattering sound coming from the engine. Sounds liek it has to be from the valves or something in the head, it's just a very fast eratic metal chattering sound which gets worse if i give it more gas. then after that when i get to about 3200rpm i get this real high pitch ringing sound, almost like a metal washer rattling really fast under a loose bolt, but it's really loud, you can hear it outside the car very well. anyone else ever hear these noises before, and what are they. They only come in when the engine is at these rpms and in all gears. I should point out and i do n't know why but they seem to be worse when i fill my oil up to the full line. if it's half way or just above the add, it's fine, but as soon as i fill 'er up the noise starts. I"m very frustrated!
