OK, I did a lot of searching and I couldn't find a clue, so I really hope someone might recognize the problem.

I have a 96'GT (Japanese one) which is making a weird grinding noise when I move from stop after car has been turned off for more than 10 minutes. Sound is not too loud and it sounds for only 2 seconds or so.

I always warm my car up enough so that water temp is close or at the middle. The sound seems to be there if I have used handbrake before and if I haven't used it before as well.

There is no noise when driving or anything. At least, no noise strong enough to hear it.

The car is 99% stock, 2.5'' exaust being the only mod. I'm totally lost, I can't even recognize where this sound is coming from...

Come to think of it, there used to be some noise at the back of the car (passenger side) when doing heavy 35mph/90-degree corners, turning left, but it seems to have disappeared now.
