Hey everyone,

So I just got my dsm running again and am seeing a very strange coolant leak. The leak is only showing under the driver side right behind the steering rack next to the down pipe. It seriously is coming out of where a slit in the metal is right next to the downpipe where my wideband connects. I have searched all over the place under there and cannot see any coolant coming from anywhere to maybe leak into where the coolant is showing. There is no sign of any coolant lines that could be draining into there and just coming out through the metal.

I am really stumped so any help would be awesome.

Just a side note. It is not leaking like crazy. Just maybe 1 or 2 drops after driving.

The car did sit for almost 2 years without moving. Could this just be run off or something?

Thanks again

Chad

I had a leak like that it was the thermostat housing hose and it would only drip or spray when i was getting on it so popping the hood you wouldnt see it.
it could be running down and running along the metal. Check the firewall heater hoses.

Well i would take the hoses out and inspect them. i just had a leak on the hose that runs out to the reservoir and it spit out a gallon of coolant before i caught the issue
