Stock Intercooler Ducting?

I have a Dejon Tool Big SMIC and was curious if you guys thought it was worth modifying the stock plastic ducting to fit my new intercooler. I was thinking on doing it since I figured it would help force the air through the core but was wondering if any of you guys had so real world tests with and with out it. Thanks.

A duct would help, but not if it doesn't force air to the entire core. So if you modify it to force air to the whole core I would say go for it what do you have to lose?

Yeah. Make sure it doesn't do more harm than good. I had a shroud for my dejon smic and it helped to lower temps. It seems like without a shroud it's hard for the air to not go around the intercooler.

I permanantly toof off my shroud for my stock smic because it was a PITA to work in that area with the shroud. I cant tell the difference.

I know this is old, but I just wrapped like seven or so layers of duct tape around the stock ducting to seal the duct to the intercooler. I definitely have noticed slightly better response and after a quick boosting last night (10lbs) I checked it immediately afterwards and the lower endtank felt close to ambient temp. When or if the tape melts off, I'll try and come up with a better solution.
