Well my stock clutch has been getting grabby 117400 miles on it. Do you guys think that the clutch is starting to fail? Is so what clutch would you guys recommend me getting that isn't to extrem, goals are only 350 to 380hp this is my DD as well. Thx guys

Well it does here and there. It's been like that since I had bought her from the last owner (almost 2 yrs now). It would slip only first thing in the morning and most of the time it won't do it the rest of the day. If I floor it it will slip for a short time then start to grab. It has done it since I first got her.

Sounds like you should look into replacing that my friend. Its about that time.

ACT makes a good clutch. I dont know what your goals are though.

i replied in the wrong thread LOL, EDIT:

its time to replace your clutch, to the infamous ACT 2600

Im good like that. Don't worry about it.

because you need to go outside and grab some sun, and if you choose not to i got this picture for you that should be an LCD screen Lumens equivalent of 10% sun LOL

OP, sorry im not trying to take over your thread but this is kinda funny and i cant let it go.

Even looking at a screen like that would require me to take leave.. Unacceptable.

Lol nope its all good here. I had stated that I'm only looking to hit 350 to 380hp this is my DD I was thinking that a 2600 is to much maybe a 2100, or something similar I do go to the 1/4 mile here and there. I don't need the most extrem ether

i run the 2600, and its awesome i think the 2100 will leave you thinking you should of gone 2600.

Ok so next question would be, I have done many fwd clutches but never an AWD clutch. Is it about the same or an entirely different ball park not to hard or is it just a pain in the a$$? Also what disk should I go for?

Exactly the same. They use the same clutch.

You do however, need to move the heavy as #### AWD tranny out of the way, and this is after dropping the x-fer case btw.

Seriously, Screw Act... Get a Southbend, or this

"Stage 3 Kit Clutch + Flywheel" Aka Six Puck.

Stage 4 Clutch Replacement Kit Only (Aka 4 Puck)

I would say steer clear of the stage 2 as it is most likely not any better than a OEM replacement. If it is any better, at all, it would be marginal.

I have a fidanza kit on mine, but I only installed that because its what I had on my car when I bought it (first 1g) and it was a fidanza kit w/ fidanza flywheel.

Honestly I cant say how good the XTD Flywheel is. But The guy that got me into DSMs has the 4 Puck in his car, and it putting down around 400whp.

So the t case will need to come off or moved over to the side? The only thing I don't like is then I will need to drop the down pipe, I'm thinking I will break off some exhaust bolts since it looks like they have never been removed.

Yes. You will need to take it off.
