Quick question. I got a 91 TSI AWD and need to know how to make the stock BOV work properly without having the vacume hose attached to the side of the BOV. i tried but the car would not idle right even after plugging the vacume line. Kinda a retarded ? but my budget is low and just trying to improve the car without much money for now. THANKS

If you plug the vacuum hole the BOV wont open till the boost inside opens it, I think your asking for trouble

Plug the intake side and leave the bov "venting" and see what happens with your idle or your cars running ability. Hopefully that may fix it.

As far as how to cap that?
Um...

Big Pill Bottle.
Um... I'm outa thigs I can think of.
Sorry

You cannot make it work properly. It's designed that way for a reason.

What John said. You will not get any performance gain from doing anything with the BOV unless you crush it and that is for running high boost, so leave it alone.

Yeah i think im just gonna leave it alone until i can find a aftermarket BOV and air intake. i had it working but it would not idel at all so i had to turn my idle up quite a bit and it was getting way to much fuel. so i decided to put it back and leave it alone. but thanks alot for the help.
