Steering Wheel Off Center and Clicking Noise

So Ive been having problems with my steering lately. First a clicking noise started to happen whenever I turned the steering wheel when the car wasn't moving. Around a month later it started to click while I was moving too. Now around a week ago I notice that the steering wheel isn't centered while going straight. Its like 15 degrees to the right now instead of centered. Does anyone have any clue if this could be my inner tie rods. I noticed a while ago that both boots were ripped. Its not my cv axles, everyone tells me that. Its only clicks when I turn not a constant clicking plus I replaced the passenger axle 2 months ago and the driver side seems to be in perfect condition no rips or holes in the boot.

If I were you I would jack the car up and see if the wheel has any play if there is remove the tire and check and see what's not doing its job ,

also does the car veer off when your going straight? ( like the tires NOT the steering wheel)?

Hard to tell since nearly all the roads in florida are slanted but think its pulling a little to the right, last time I checked only thing I really noticed was the inner tie rods boots were torn on both sides

id check your tie rods out with the car off the ground get some one to wiggle the tire and you look and see ,i know my laser was kinda not going straight but i replaced them and solved that before something really failed

did you check your brake headshields? That was rattling on my 1ga

Incorrect toe is the only alignment concern that's going to cause your steering wheel to be off center. Replace the tie rod ends, and bring it in for an alignment

I replaced both outer ends around 4 months ago that why im suspecting its the inners tie rods but I want to be sure before I go through all the trouble of changing them

No I brought it in for a balance and alignment and they said they wouldn't do alignment cause inner boots were ripped

Well that would've been nice to know on the OP . Replace the inner tie rod ends and boots, then bring it in for an alignment.

when i did my outers we just literally backed the bolt abit twisted off the tie rod end, then put the new one on pretty simple and my car was perfect she stays straight , but were doing my entire front suspenion come june with an alinment should be expensive but i only paid 800$ for the car so im kinda saveing cash not buying some crappy new car for 15000 that losses half its value once its driven off the lot
