starter trouble, how do I

I need to know which post on the starter motor gets the positive wire. I dont have a manual, and cant find anything through searches or at VFAQ.

How do I wire this thing!

Umm the only other stud that doesn't have a wire. There should be 2 studs, one stud is by itself which is where your + battery cable goes, the other stud has a wire that comes out of the silenoid and into the starter motor.

ok, that's what I thought... -the wires have "memory" and appeared to hook up like that...

All I did was swap a clutch and install a new Garrett Turbo and now I cant get the friggin starter to kick over the motor. I just get a click, -thought I wired it backwards or something. Jus to be sure, youre saying that (as viewed from the back of the starter motor) the small spade connection is up and in between two posts, the left has a jumper wire that goes into the starter motor housing, and connects to the brushes? and the one on the left (which has no jumper wire at all) is THE POSITIVE terminal?
