Cross your fingers and have someone look in the engine bay and under the car for any leaks (fuel, oil, coolant) as soon as you crank it.

Lol or better yet have someone else crank it While you watch the engine bay. Not only will you notice any problems immediately that way, but if there is a problem, you can just blame it on whoever started the car :sneaky: :thumb:

My 6-bolt was the first one I built too. Oddly enough, I was pretty much at ease as soon as I primed the oil pump and saw the oil come out of the lifters with no leaks. Other than that, I was mostly worried about the timing belt skipping. If you've got good oil pressure and good oil level and your timing belt is set, most of the other problems can be fixed fairly easily. Once its started up, keep the top cover off of the timing belt to make sure its not flapping due to loss of tension...then check for oil leaks and to make sure coolant is cycling through your system.

Just follow the normal break-in procedures for any motor and you should be golden.

How the hell do I get my photo to be 150 x 150?
