well my problems is really complicated when i take off in 1st when letting out the clutch while giving it a little gas my car shutters so hard my dash shakes up and down and even does it in 2nd as well, but not 3rd or 4th or 5th, but if i take off in 1st and i let the clutch will quick like hard or heavy take off theres no shutter it only happens when i let the clutch out slow in 1st and 2nd its driving me insane and it barley started doing it today, a buddy of mine said that its my clutch disc slapping the center force the kit might just be getting weak what do ya'll think.

prothane mounts on the tranny side and up by the cam gears are maybe 6 months old i havent done the front or the back inserts yet

one thing i forgot to mention was even before i replaced my mounts with prothane , even with four shot mounts my car never did this, and my buddy asked me the same question how were my mounts , this is what i dont understand about my issue.

hmm. are you positive it is transmition related? Can you feel anything in the pedal? I mean i know its easy to assume it is because of the timing of the problem but could it be engine related ( I.E. bad motor mounts and you really only noticing it at the low and specific RPM ) just an idea..

Thank you chi town and FYI I've been driving standard cars for like 15 yrs so yes I do know how to drive standard cars and trucks .

Are you running aftermarket clutch? Maybe upgraded disc is a bbit hard to grab. Maybe a video can help us help you.

sounds like clutch chatter to me. do you launch your car or have you slipped it a lot recently?

I find mine does this too. Started after getting an ACT 2600 PP and ACT street disc. Giving the car more throttle and slipping the clutch more causes no chatter. Too little throttle and slippage causes bad chatter. I just avoid doing that.

Chatter.

The disk is either worn or was thrashed recently and is affecting the engagement qualities. It will improve in short order or it won't.
Some discs are just prone to chatter. Other times it can depend on the finish of the flywheel/pp.

well guys i have a stock clutch and it turns out to be the clutch is just worn and my flywheel has more hotspots then L.A. nite clubs , im getting it fixed and unfortunately and i can only afford a stock clutch but im having trouble finding a new flywheel my trans is a non-turbo trans i think im gonna just get it resurfaced,

Dude check out the seller gripforce on ebay. I paid 150 for a stage 3 clutch rated up to 300 ft pounds of torque and 350 horses. I have had it for about 20k miles and I beat my car up once in a while. Launches just like when I put it in. Pm me if you need info

yeah I was pretty much sure you had warp spots in your flywheel because I had the same problem when I was trying to cruise thru a shopping center using mainly my clutch till I smoothed out my fly alittle
