Stalling?

Alright my 2G stalls sometimes when im turning the wheel in reverse if I give it a little gas and then let off or break it will either stall or the rpms will drop way low it happens in drive sometimes too same thing though when im turning and when ive been driving it and i stop and its idling it sometimes idles rough idk whats wrong with it. just rebuilt the top end anyone have any idea what could be wrong with it?

If your timing is off it will cause this. Verify that your timing marks are all aligned and that there is proper tension on the timing belt. If everything is good then look at the IAC as stated above. Do a datalog on it and post the log if you can. Other overlooked things are dirty throttle body, faulty coil pack and torque converter lock up if your car is an auto.

I think youre right about the timing being off but that is going to be fixed in the next few days so if it stops doing it after im done good if not ill post again

check your ISC motor, mine is toasted and stalls really easily especially in reverse. You might also need to reset your base idle speed. Both guides to those are found in this thread
