HI Guys,

I was told yesterday that because I installed a new sterio & speaker system in my car recently, that it's taken to much power from the alternater and causing my car to stall.

Everytime I'm at a light and idoling for awhile, it starts sounding funny and then stalls on me.

Can it truly be because maybe the sterio wires are grounded properly or because the throttle needs cleaning? Or maybe you guys can help me figure this out. I'm so frustrated & just want it fixed!

Sincerely
Jen Jen

had a friends car die on him like that. he had to upgrade his car battery to one from the store. think he got an optima

Next time it starts to stall out turn the radio off. That should give you an idea if it's the radio or not. Alternator could be going out, battery could be weak.

Thanks, I'll try that next time. Not even sure it's that, but you never know on these cars. The slightess sensor not working properly or a wire not in proper place, will cause all sorts of wierd things happen i guess.

Thanks again guys!
