I have 3 problems as of right now.

1. The car is stalling out when I shift. I'm not talking about starting in first or reverse and stalling out, I mean it is stalling out when I shift between gears AND just when the car is rolling and I push in the clutch. It stalls out till i let out the clutch and give it car. When I do this thou it jerks and I know it can't be good.

2. The car is idling at 750 rpm when I turn it on (normal). When I drive it for 10-30 mins it starts to raise up goin from 1k to 2.5k or even once 3k rpm (JUST IDLING). this is not giving it gas in anyway. It just starts to raise after driving it for a bit.

3. The car is over heating for some wierd reason. I can't figure out why...! The fans are working, their is coolant and it is flowing, and the thermostat is fine. It only starts to stall out when I drive it for like 10-30 mins. It has to do something with the rpm's going so high (I think)! The car overheats as the rpm go up.

Thanks

BTW it is a 2g 4g63 95 eclipse

For the transmission. It could be a faulty clutch. Check the pedal and see if it needs adjustment. The is a possiblity you have a vacume leack or the aicv is meesed up could be some type of idle surge. For the coolent might be a head gasket. There is a leak some where or the could be an air pocket somewhere.

Well the engine and trans was just rebuilt 150 miles ago LOL! I just bought the car with rebuilt engine and trans.

Sounds like your in pretty deep:( I would bring it to a dealer or someone who works on Mitsu's and have them look it over. Or try checking all the solenoids on your firewall to see if there all working right. My car ran like crap when my idle control solenoid went bad.

Hope this helps:thumb:

Thanks Slow

I read that post and I'm finding out if theirs is idle high when they first turn on their cars or after driving it for a bit. If after driving it for a bit I plan to do that 2mrw. Thank you
