Stall problem weird to diagnose.

Ok here are the facts its a 2G 96 GST with only 76k miles auto tran lightly moded but ran fine for a few years after mods so the mods themselves should not be the problem. She has been in storage for almost 2 years. Everything seems to be fine on it I changed out all the fluids and charged up the battery. So this is what happens and I have goten in to do this on multiple occasions.

It will start fine the 1st time if its cold you can drive it I will go for a while no problems if you leave it just parked idling she will not stall at all for hours RPM's stay in the 1.5 range if parked idling. Once the engine is warm if you restart it she will hot stall almost every time unless you give it a little gas (very annoying since its an auto to have to keep foot on the gas) is she doesnt stall it will iddle very rough in the .2 to .5 range usually and stall in a slow roll or when you come to a complete stop. I know that this can probably be a wide range of things what I am hopeing for is a list of what order I should go in as far as checking, cleaning replacing etc. Thanks all

How long have you had it running? You will need to drive it around for a while for the ECU to "relearn" certain things like idle.

Leaving a car sitting for 2 years is also hard on rubber lines and hoses. Bad leaks will also wreak havoc on your idle. Do a BLT.

Lastly, are you throwing any CELs?

Sorry forgot that part no CEL's I plugged in my pocketlogger and there were no codes. I let her run Idle on Friday for 3 hours the RPM's stayed the constant right around 1.5 I stopped her for 5 minutes restarted and they dropped to below .5 but she didn't stall until I put it into drive. She sat for 2 years but I did start her once every 3 months for 15 minutes or so. It used to be my car I sold it to a friend in the military but since he is always off in one sandbox or another he decided he couldn't keep it and sold it back to me he had it for the 3 years drove it once for like a month.
