SRS Steering wheel

I wanna change the steering wheel on my 98' rs (auto), does anyone know if thats possible and if it will affect driveability. Also if anyones done it how do you get around the srs light problem?

The best thing I ever did was change my steering wheel. I love it. The smaller wheel is quicker on turning. I don't remember if the SRS light came on or not, but if it does, just take the gauges out and pull the lightbulb out.

I put a razo shifter in and my srs light came on and the tranny went into limp mode. Had to take it to the dealer to get the light reset. Now I wondering if I change tthe steering wheel to one w/o airbags will the light stay on, and will the same thing happen to the tranny?
