How do i fix a speaky shock? my rear driver shock keeps speakin over every little bump, there KYB's. its hella annoying, is their a way to stop them from speaking or do i have to reaplce it? :dsm:

When parts of your car are talking to you, you may need more than automotive repair.

If it is a shock, you may need to replace it but there are many more moving parts back there that may try to communicate.

ya i know for a fact its the shock, just wonderin if there is anything i could do or if I have to replace it, its for the best get better then KYB's this time round :dsm:

My 2G KYB's never squeaked; they just blew out all their oil after less than 20k miles and 1.5 years. Like the man said; get something better...which won't be hard to do.

well then what would you suggest then? Koni's?

Koni's are a good choice. Yellow much better than red, but either would do. I'm not sure if both models are even available for a 2gDSM? I know that the yellows are available.

see i was going to go with the adjustable tokicos....i dunno i'll look around.
