I just got my talon on the road and there is a very annoying squeak coming from the right front brake it there when im going slow but goes away at about 45mph and when the brakes are hot but when cold and going slow they are very loud i took the tire off and it looks like something is scraping the outside of the rotor any way to fix this.

Well theres the problem i dont have any money let me rephrase the question any way to fix it for free.

Brake pads have a clip on the edge of the pad (aka squeaker clip or wear indicator) so that when your friction surface gets down to a certain point, this clip will rub on the rotor and make a squeaking/screeching sound signaling to you its time for new pads.

You could cut off this clip, but before you know it your will have metal on metal contact and in alot of cases, ruin your rotors.

Find the money for new pads and call it a day.

IF you say youve fixed it alredy, that would be nice for you to share it, but other than new brakes, .. depending on the area you drive in, you may have small rocks or dust in your rotors.. also if the rotors are rusty, the will squeel occasionally:dsm:
