I drove my moms 92 Talon n/t to work yesterday cause my dad needed to borrow my truck. Anytime I would accelerate there would be the, not really loud, squeaking sound. I know its a belt. I was wondering if its the timing belt. The engine was swapped and we think it has about 40-45k miles on it. If its not the T-belt what could it be? Thanks.

Timing belts dont squeak. They are a gear toothed belt, so theres no way possible for it to "slip". Most likely its your alternator belt. The alternator sits just below the power steering pump and if the PS pump leaks at all then I could see it possibly making the alternator (if the belt was loose) squeak. Check that and try tightening the alternator per VFAQ. Buy a chiltons manual best investment youll ever make.

If the belts are cracked at all, or appear to be frayed...go ahead and replace them because the squeaking will only ge worse no matter how much you tighten them. Also, use some belt dressing spray...it acutally works.
