Well, the title says squeak when turning, but not when turning the wheel or anything while stopped. I know what a bad ball joint and tie rods and bushings can do, they make a creaking noise when just turning the wheel, well on my girlfriends 96 Sebring and on 2 of my eclipses a while back, this noise occurs when traveling at about 20mph and we turn left or right a sharp turn (heard very well in parking lot sharp turns) it is not a balljoint creak, it sounds to me like a Spinning part, like if youve ever had warped squeky rotors, and you go to stop it makes that ear peircing squeek squeek noise, thats what this is like, but only when turning, the brakes and rotors are brand new, i thought those were it but they are not, also the driveshaft was replaced and the lower, upper balljoints and lower control arm, also the tie rod was replaced. So with everything new, whats making the noise?! thanks! The noise has always been there even before the replacement of all these parts!

Im annoyed!

well, like i said the whole front end was pretty much done over to try to relieve the squeek, the bushings ball joints, everything! everything is new and oil. new rotors and pads, and also a new axle and driveshaft. so what could make a peep?

Is it possible that
A. When turning left, it distributes weight to the front right and it puts stress on the new axle, and makes it squeek ### maybe its not greased all the way or broken in??

B. for some reason when turning left, it puts stress on the right tire and axle and throws the rotor of its path and scrapes on the brake pads, because maybe the axle bolt isnt tightened all the way? because the wheel is bolted to the rotor which is bolted to the axle, so the rotor, wheel and axle will move together if the axle nuts loose, and then the stationary brake pads and caliper obviously arent bolted to the axle so they wont move with it, so the rotor and axle and wheel go croked for a second and rotor rubs on brake pad? make sense

Which does that sound like the most?!?!

well warped rotors would always make noise, and the braking would suck, the braking is awesome, rotors are fine.

So i will take off the tire, undo the axle nut a bit, then pound it in more and hopefully it seats, then maybe ill re-grease the u-joint!!! that may be it, because when you turn the ujoint and axle boots flex alittle to turn the axle, maybe it needs grease, ill try tomorrow.

Taken it to a front-end shop? How are the CV joints and are the boots intact or cracked with all the grease spun out of them?

You may know that when a wheel that is turning and it's axle has to move laterally, the rotating force of the wheel will cause the axle to lean instead of turn which will put a load on one side of the front of the axle esp on the bearings.

Maybe wheel bearings are worn as well..

brand new axles and cv joints, everything is new, which makes me think the axle wasnt pressed or wasnt fully pushed on, or makes me think the new u joint wasnt greased or needs to be somehow, maybe they missed a step and didnt grease.
