Spyder owners or anyone that knows

i know this is probably a stupid question , but when i buy my exhaust for my spyder gst, and i find one that i like and for ex. it says it is for a gst eclipse, does that mean it is still good for a spyder too, or if you have a spyder do you have to get a diff. one like if you had a gsx or N/T, just asking so i dont F up when ordering down the road. thanks

nope. it's the same thing. GS-T spyder is exactly the same thing as a GS-T. The only difference is it's a convertible. Have fun with the new exhaust.

Yep hes right the only difference between a spyder gst and regular gst, is the convertable top.

I have a 98' Spyder and i have an Apex-i N1 for a gst. It didnt fit.. the gst has a bung for an o2 sensor after th cat, you dont need it. also the piping that goes from the cat adapter to the "gas tank bend" needs to be cut shorter about 3 inches... dont ask me why but u had to do it, it owuldnt fit... its mint now tho!

you have an N/T,he has a GS-T ,GS-T should fit just fine.

umm, all cars equipped with OBDII have a bung for the o2 sensor after the cat. and unless you are running a test pipe/cat delete pipe, just leave the o2 sensors in there and hooked up.

GST and GST Spyder parts are interchangeable. i know this cause i too always was concerned about specifically ordering parts labeled "GST Spyder". then i realized as far as drivetrain, exhaust, suspension, etc goes, its the same. like if youre ordering lowering springs/shocks for a gst spyder, just get them for a GST. if youre ordering them for a n/t spyder, just get them for a n/t(though not 100% sure on that).

Besides that, you are giving him your info on a NT spyders exhaust, which has no relevance to his question regarding his GST Spyder. Like others said, the exhausts for a gst will work on your car as well.

Incorrect opinion? You have a GS Spyder and he asked about a GS-T Spyder, which you obviously have no experience with.
