Searched the forum and didn't have any luck finding a previous thread so I apologize if this has been covered. I need a new carpet for my 98 Spyder Non-Turbo. All the online carpet places have replacements for coupes only. Can anyone point me to a site that sells them for the convertible as well?

Also, I am looking to replace my cloth seats with leather. I have a black leather back seat from E-Bay already but am still looking for some front leather seats. Are there any cars besides the Eclipse/Talonwho's front seats will fit into the Spyder(With a little modification)? I'm a little worried about racing seats because of the factory seat belt issue. So if I can get something out of a Galant or Sebring that has the female receptacle built into the seat it would make life easier.

excellent question. i am going through the same thing myself. what color are your seats now? grey or tan?

Not to hijack but I have the same delima...I have grey seats (leather) and want to go black/tan.

Has anyone fitted racing seats with out raising the sitting height?

Mine are grey cloth right now, and pretty torn up thanks to my dog. I can go with black or grey leather. I was able to get a black leather back seat but I might end up selling that if I can get an entire grey interior set.

I got floormats for my 99 off of ebay they aren't the greatest but I sprayed them with scotch guard before I put them in and they have held up through the past two years of michigan winters. They even have spyder embroidered into them. I think I paid something like 50 for them.

Why wouldnt the carpet for the coupe work? I thought our interiors were the exact same, except the coupe's back seat was a little bigger. I was about to buy carpet for the coupe for my car. Anyone sure about this? I can't really see them making two different floor pans.

I just replaced mine - they are not the same. That pic shows that the coupe back seat has a recess that is not on the spyder so in my case I had to trim and sew (shhh) the carpet with some heavy nylon thread to remove the approximate 2" of extra carpet that you will end up with.

Here are some in progress pics:

So are Convertible seats different from the Coupes?
