I was planning to repaint my bumper but while coming to prep it, i found its been hacked togther before. so i want to start fresh and clean

Now for the ricer inside of me.... is there anyaftermarket bumpers that look good with out a full kit?

and for the stocker side wheres the best place to get one?

Ha..good luck with that. I've been looking forever...nobody has them. Only thing I can do is wait & hope that somebody with a 97-98 Talon is stupid enough to want to be a lemming & switch it to 2GB Eclipse bumper...even then, they wouldn't switch with me, cause I got a stupid 2GA smiley bumper

I have a 2gB talon bumper im running as a beater for the winter Its got a hold in it though for a pipe straight to the intake. Here's a pic if anyone wants it make an offer.

A winter bumper? Thats what all those fiberglass "tuner" ones are for.

I know I know. if it makes you guys feel any better I havn't even driven it at all. Its now under a car cover and 2 tarps...been like that for atleast a month and a half...that was the first and last snow it saw. All i really did was make the hole into an airvent then bolt it up and fix my 97-99 in my basement.

Honestly, I HATE that lip. I would suggest the Cupra R32 lip if you wanted to go that route. But ultimately it is your car, do what you like.

I remember that blue one, it is a hybrid eclipse/talon bumper for the larger IC opening. Its a really will thought out project as is the bumper site member "GSX" just finished.

I planned on making the talon bumper since I had my car in 2001. But it took almost 4 years before it came to where it is at now. Thank you for the comments.

Is that just a modified 97 bumper? If so was it difficult to do?

It started out as multiple bumpers and ended up like that. Yes it took about 60 hours to get done perfect. Its amazing in person, the pics just cant grasp all that has been done to it.
