new front bumper

Ok I got a new Front Bumper 97-99 style, its black from company, says its primed. Can I throw it on there till I get time to paint? Or will it hurt the bumper with all the elements winter has? (salt and so on)

It shouldnt be a problem.

The primer will break down and it will need re-primered prior to paint.... plus you'll get chips in the finish from the salt, soo it will need sanded, primed, and painted before you put it on for good with the final paint.

yay dwdsm is right i wouldnt . unless you want to go ahead and have a headache later. just wait till you are ready for paint.
