I thought I read somewhere that if you use a dsm head that the compression stays around 8.5.1 depending on what head gasket u use. I may be wrong. I do not have tuning software yet so thats not much of an option right this minute.
So I bought the car and the tranny went out so I upgraded that, then dropped a valve so I got the fully built head. Now the Pistons are out so id rather upgrade if im gonna replace any of that as well. Other than those things I only have intake and exhaust.
that's about right with the compression, I'm sure you want to drive it already but I'd strongly recommend some kind of tuning device. Before upgrading anything else. ecmlink, AEM, Greddy Managment, or Jackel will do the trick. This will also save you from a bunch of headace later down the road. And if your looking for a machine shop thiers always Carquest on Union and brundage, might sound wierd but they do good work but are kind of pricey.
Where did ya get your car from?
Sounds familiar. If ya need any help Hmu. I live right over there
Ok will do. Thanks
