sporadic white smoke

every couple of days when im driving my car and i stop at a light white smoke blows out the exhaust but its not steady i was thinking maybe its running to rich but i am not sure

also the one line that runs kinda threw the oil filter has coolant in it is that normal?

One of my buddies owned a 97 TSI and he had noticed white smoke occasionally and just assumed it was running rich on a improper tune "car ran fine didn't miss" later he started losing coolant and found he had a junk head-gasket. You might run a compression check for fun?

I agree with gotgrip run a compression test, this also happened to me Do a compression test just to make sure its not your HG. If that comes out right then check all your hoses and fittings.

compression checked out i changed my tune a little bit it was running really ritch also tightend up some lines and hoses no smoke since

White smoke is not a rich fuel problem but water turning into vapor or a very lean condition. Rich would be black/gray in color.
