The spider gears in my center diff turned into a carnival carnage after launching it at the track once. I'm hoping someone can machine the center diff housing because I plan on going with a welded center diff. But if not I would most likely have to buy another center diff housing what do you guys think?

Photo #2 was the most telling: the case is damaged. You will need a new center diff, but you don't have to run a welded one. If you plan to launch the car often, there are center diffs with modifications you can buy (or have done) that will be more heavy duty. Those options are discussed on many threads in these forums.

Learning how to launch properly is key, even with a 4 spider or a welded diff you will continue to break parts.

I know how to launch properly. the 2 step was set at 5500rpm and I slipped the clutch this isn't my first rodeo the car makes 508whp and 387tq on a 2.3 stroker with a weak stock 2 spider.

I know the options and the best route for me is the welded center diff I was just trying to get insight from you guys to see if my center diff housing could be machined and reused again. Thanks for your response.

You seem quite defensive for someone who isn't in their first rodeo. You need a new center diff regardless of which route you go.
