I'm probably the oldest newbie on the forum. Just recently got back into it with a 1g car that I intend to use as a track only car.
That said, I intend to gut the car and get the weight down some.

Here's the specs currently:

92 AWD Auto - 6/4 combo with LSD
6 Bolt engine
9:1 Wiseco pistons
Stock rods
Stock cranks
ARP studs
Cometic HG
ACL rods and mains
Head has +1mm valves, supertech hardened guides

Currently has a big16G on some sort of tubular manifold. Stock boost levels, stock fuel system, no tuning.

So it's a pretty clean slate to work with. I'm ready to start ordering parts and get this build moving, but everytime I search I see different setups.
I just want one that's proven to work and has potential to GROW.

Once the turbo is spec'd/ordered, I'll send the torque converter off to be restalled to whatever RPM will work with the turbo.

I'm looking for someone to spec out the following for me that's proven:

- Turbo/manifold
- Cams
- Intake manifold
- FMIC
- Fuel System (needs to be for E85)
- Tuning software
- Torque Converter
- Anything else i'm missing

Attaching a couple pics so you guys can see what I'm working with:

Also worth mentioning, I got my fuel purchased. Ended up with a 55gal drum of Renegade pro e112.
The pump e85 around here is only ~e70 right now. This stuff is consistent and is cut with a leaded racing fuel which puts its octane rating around 112.
Got a good deal from a buddy who's a dealer for this stuff.

Here are some pics of the turbo and manifold. Looks like the exhaust side of the turbo has been ported/knife-edged. Parts look and feel like great quality.

Hoping to get the wideband installed today, and tomorrow the car goes off to be caged.

On the turbine housing, is that a dip into the turbo on the knife edging? I guess if you are tuning an open manifold on a divided housing it wouldn't make much of a difference, but I would think if you ever use a true divided manifold that will create a gap, not allowing you to see the benefits of have a divided setup.

It is a dip there. Looks like it should flow decent with that manifold. We'll see in a couple weeks I guess.
If I end up changing anything, it will most likely be the turbo and the next will have a true open housing rather than divided.

I'm thinking the PTE 6266 would be a nice option, and it's available with a t3 housing.

Roll cage install got pushed back a week so decided to start tearing into this thing.

Over the weekend I got the ECMLink V3 setup and going. Also got the wideband installed. Played around on sunday and got a decent base tune going (kinda pointless but I wanted to learn the software). Found out that the car had blue 450cc injectors (instead of oem auto 390s). Also found out that @ 15psi on the 16g, it's pushing those injectors to 110% duty cycle to hold 11.7 af/r. LOL

Decided to install the front mount intercooler sunday evening (VRSF). Pulled the bumper and quickly realized that with an auto car the trans cooler has to be relocated, and there's quite a bit of cutting to be done on the core support.
So, that morphed into stripping the whole thing down. Not planning to use the factory radiator anyway, so it's gone. Condenser, gone. Power steering, gone. Alternator, gone (going to relocate). A/C lines, gone. 16g turbo and manifold, gone.

The only thing I messed up was one of the water lines going to the 16g. I completely missed it at first, and only found it when the turbo wouldn't come out. Tried to take it loose at the water pipe and it wouldn't budge.
Is there a waterpipe that I can buy that doesn't have those turbo cooling ports built into it?

Here are some progress pics:

Time for a dumb question. I need to do the kiggly mod to my trans. I see their diagram but it doesn't do a good job of identifying which connectors I'm supposed to be looking at.

Can anyone point out which two connectors they are referring to?

I've also been deleting a lot stuff that's not needed. Anyone see stuff in these next pics that I can delete without issue?

I'm curious too about different setups. I just purchased a 92 AWD 6/4 LSD car in December and almost want to see what a HTA68 will do with supporting mods and the stock trans and converter with a shift kit and tuning.
