i tried installing this unit, but the car wont turn over, just keeps cranking. its the plug and play unit and i plugged it into the correct connector on the coilpack. it seems though that the coils dont seem to be long enough to fully cover the spark plug. can anyone help me out here?

hows it wired up? if its wired up for years 1995-1996 the car will keep turning over and not start.

alright thanks, i mean it plugs right into the connector fine, but like you said it will just turn over no start.

anyone else on here installed spark tech of there car with any problem. ive tried searching it but there isnt much talk about it?

Hey every im not trying to steel the threath I'm just wondering if you guys fixed this problem as I'm having the same problem,

It worked befor, the car was put away for the winter and now I started to add more stuff, and I was trying to start it and nothing, it turns over and back fires from the exhaust, I swapped the cop for a stock coils and it started right up.

If any one found a way to fix the spark tech cop let me know, I will be contacting spark teck this week and see ### kind of help they can offer.

I had the issue with my Sparktech COP that the two wires that go to the ECU were backwards. In the directions it said wire X to pin 1, and wire Z to pin 2 (just reference not actual directions) but it was actually vice versa. Hooked up like the directions said had the coils firing in reverse order.

Ditto. Try the pin swap.
