WHat is the difference between getting a Sparco Harness with Cam Lock and getting one with a locking mechanism that resembles OEM seat belts?

I am being offered two sets of the 4PT Cintura model for $140 and two sets of the Sparco Cam Lock 4PT for $230.

Is the cam lock worth the extra $90?

On the OEM style, the shoulder and lap belt on each side are sewn together and permanently one piece. This will make it easier to get on and off.

With the cam lock, the cam is permanently attached to one of the lap belts, and the other 3 attach to it.

The cam lock will allow you to add a sub belt in the future if you want. The OEM style will not.

The OEM style is probably not legal for any kind of competition racing other than autocross and maybe drag, depending on how fast you run and where you are.

The cam lock kind, with all belts separate pieces, is a pain to get on and off. If you are using this everyday for the street, get the OEM kind.

I got the cam lock. I autocross, and use it only when racing. I got it because I thought I might get into road racing or open track someday. I use the OEM belt when not racing.
