Some exhaust Help

Hi I need some help, I am thinking on upgrade my exhaust from 2.5 to 3 after the downpipe. I daily drive on 15 psi and sometimes run on 25 psi on my evo3 with external wastegate. Someone told one time that It will be a hp gain like 20hp more o less But I want to know if the car loss power or acceleration when I run it on 15 psi or some other problems

I will appreciate your experience

Na i doubt 20hp gains... maybe when adding NOS stickers to your ride but not by exhaust..

Realistically like 7whp i would say. The Cat is the most restrictive part of the exhaust.

You might not even feel the gains

if you don't upgrade to a 3" downpipe, don't even bother going to a 3" catback, you wouldn't even feel a difference from the 2.5" or whatever it is that you're running now.
