exhaust - 2.5dp to 3" need some help.

Well, ive reached a dilemma. from what ive gathered on these forums...if i were to go 3"DP back, it would cause boost creep, and i simply do not want that. as of now, i have a 2.5" downpipe and a ported o2 to match, to a 2.5" cat and 2.5" back. I definetly want to go 3" but, i dont know if i should. what i really want to know is, where can i get a high flow cat that will change from 2.5dp connection to 3" catback, and is this in any danger of boost creep? or a 2.5"cat to a 3" catback. oh, and i also plan to go bigger down the road so thats why i want to go 3" from the cat back. ill upgrade my downpipe/o2 when need be.

I purchased a carsound highflow 3"cat and welded on a 2.5-3'' coupler so It would mount to my dp. Im also using a 3" cat back, ported 1g o2 housing and have no boost creep with the mbc set at 15psi. Anything below that caused some creep but I never run less than 17 psi anyway so it didnt affect me what so ever.

my 3" exhaust is for an awd, and i won a fwd. all the hangers are the same accept for the muffler hangers. it would look a bit off, just check out my gallery to c how it would be like.
and as for the 2.5" dp with 3" exhaust, it would depend on your turbo, and ur exhaust manifold. im using a dnp with 20g and my boost is fine.

My car has a been lowerd 2" will that affect anything?

RNR made me a custom downpipe with a 2.5" pipe before the flex section, and 3" after the flex section, for no extra charge.

this thread is over 2 months old. its all taken care of, im running 2.5" turbo back with test pipe. its settled and im happy with my exhaust, i had to drop the money i was gonna buy an exhaust for, for another big16g.
