Socketing Place?

Anyone know where to get it done? Im about to get a dsmlink from a place other then dsmlink.

I work in the electronic repair industry and I'm having mine done by my technicians who make a living soldering components on. Where are you located? I could probably have it done for you too. Do you have a socket? ECM Tuning didn't get my message to send a socket so I ordered a bunch through work and have extra due to the minimum order quantity.

Oh sockets won't come in until the 9th (so I'm told). It sucks because my dsmlink just arrived today!

For those interested, please shoot me a PM. I'm not in this for a business, but will do this service until the extra sockets I have are used up. Depending on how things go, I may order more sockets and help out the local community since I have access to the proper equipment. Also, FYI the sockets I purchased are the same ones ECM tuning uses.

Most vendors out there require a 14 minimum order quantity for this particular socket. I was able to purchase 10 from a broker we deal with.

Does anyone burn chips in the bay area? I have an EPROM ecu laying around that I'm thinking about putting a custom burned chip into, with stutterbox and stuff like that.

pneumo does it for a fee... imnot sure how much but he is an "expert tuner" he got his 14b with stock injectors ic/ icpiping and intercooler into the 11's with just an exhaust, built motor, and his custom eprom chip and an afc... id pm him he can work with ya

Sockets are in! I actually got 14 instead of the 10 I mentioned earlier. For those that PM'd me, contact me directly to set up a time. I'm only doing temporarily until I have no more sockets, so shoot me a PM if interested. The work will be done on a soldering station with a solder sucker and worked on by my techs. I can do it myself if you'd like for faster turn around (same day even), but it just won't look as pretty hehehe
