Ive had my eclipse about... 18 months now. Got it sound in the mechanical dept, been driving it just putting on miles. About 8 months ago I decided I needed to bargain shop in piecing together half talon half eclipse, 2gb talon front, twisties, 2gb eclipse rear. Today I sealed the deal on a set of twisties minus one (front passenger) cap. For $80!!!!!

I can't wait to pick these up tomorrow. The best part is, they are already black so they can pretty much go straight on when I find the passenger fender cap.

Congrats on the find. I found a set complete for a $100 includes clips. Just wondering if i should go pick it up. I might this week.

Have you tried going to the Mitsubishi dealerships to see if they have clips?

If I recall the clips are like $40 per side from the dealer. I didn't have any from my current set, went down to autozone in the interior fasteners and found the biggest interior clips that could be shoved in the hole. Came in like 8 packs and I bought three, I think they were labeled for gm vehicles. Just for a little help. Ill be installing these the same way, he used over half the clips from these on his other dsm I guess? So ill be in the same boat install wise.

Ill throw up a couple pics when I get them. Too bad I work tomorrow night or they'd be on... missing one cap or not,

Do they install like the eclipse side skirts? With screws that screw into plastic square clips, and normal push in clips on the side with double sided tape along the edge?
If so you can get all the clips you need from the dealer. It is like a dollar something for a package that has two.

Welp, here's the goods! A little more banged up than led to believe, but hell, I'm going to refinish them anyways. Nothing a little body glaze and elbow grease can't fix!

Now, if anyone can source me a passenger side cap! Haha. Ill post up when I'm done with them. I think I'm doing an overhaul of my entire car exterior, panda... but with the battleship grey paint code on the new scions and a black top, sex....
