Ha, I never noticed that "search 1st" button until now, that thing is sweet.
Anyways, I need some opinions on a problem my car has been having. Months ago some friends pointed out some smoke coming from my exhaust when I get on it. I had ben using Premiuim gas in my car since the motor swap, so I figured a Mid-grade may decrease the smoking.
So I switched to mid-grade and the smoking has gone down a little bit, if not any. Power doesn't fall off, and I'm not sure if it's blue or black because they've never seen it in the daytime. I see the smoke in my rear view mainly when I'm riding through 2nd gear, around 5500RPM's and up.
I'm stumped as to what this is, I figured it could be the carbon build up in my stock header, with my new motor pushing out the carbon with so much air passing during upper RPMs. All the porting done has increased the air flow, but my header is still stock, therefore leaving some gunk within it from years of build up. So I'm thinking I may be burning the carbon off my header:internally.
Any suggestion or ideas would be great. TIA.
