Exhaust smoking

Hey guys. Im not too sure whats going on with my exhaust right now. Im not sure if its good, bad, or OK. Anyways, whenever I'm done driving and turn the car off, I take a look at my exhaust, and the tip of my muffler continually has smoke faintly creeping out of it. Almost like a huge cigarette, but not as smokey. It's difficult to explain but hopefully you know what i meen. It occurs for about 2 minutes, then fades away. Im not sure if It's just heat escaping my exhaust because of the extreme heat meeting our cold winter air , but if you have any ideas, let me know! TIA

I'd have to say it has something to do with the winter air.

However what color is the smoke, and does the same color smoke come out when the car is still on?

Did you try to winterize your exhust with wd-40 or something, because that cleaner stuff will smoke for a while too.

No i havent tried to winterize it or anything. I havent touched it with any lubricants. But the smoke is the same color as it would be when i turn it on. For some reason it just leaks out smoke about 2 mins after I shut the car off.

Sounds like steam. Don't worry about it. If it smokes while you're driving then worry about it but there is a difference between smoke and steam.

As stated its moisture.....ignore it!

Yeah I have the same thing happen to my car, its just moisture like they said, its nothing bad.

Warm up the car til the temp reads halfway. Rev to 3000 Rpm, if smoke comes out look what color it is. Hopefully its not blue or white.

hahaha......upset I still haven't gotten to play with my car yet.

Go from blowing it up, to rebuilding, to grenading tranny, to new tranny, to gremlins in the wiring

alrite man relax... i haven't been on this site in a long time.. i used to have a eclipse and i was looking something up for a friend i've been on this site for more then 4 years and alot has changed since i've posted here... they only have 1 page and not alot of people post here like they used to, i thought maybe that page was from today
