slowboy 2g20g questions 20g

alright i have a 2g a/t and i was looking at getting the 2g 20g from slowboy for my car. I have a 75 shot direct port also to put on top of that, maybe help with spool up if i can't get it spooled up well off the line. i was just wondering if anyone was running this turbo and if so what their thoughts were on it, with an auto preferrably, but manual opinions good too. I also plan to start building an engine up soon but for now I just wanted some more so that I can shut up some of these fox-body mustangs out at the track that try and pick on imports. but i was also wondering if this 2g 20g will still be a good choice to run on a built motor? built as in built for around 700 hp, 2.3l stroker. was going to not run just turbo on that motor, was thinking maybe the 20g and a 200 shot. would this be good or should i go with a bigger turbo? thanks

Although I have only had minimal experience with this turbo, it sounds like for your future plans you'll want to go bigger. Being that the 2g20g is in a smaller housing to accomodate it's ability to "bolt on", it's going to run out of breath sooner then your standard 20g. Yesm the 2g20g standard comes with the smaller housing like stated, but you can ask for the larger one if you really want it. I have the 20G rotated and eblowed for stock location. I suggest a rotated turbo and then NO elbow. This will give you MORE options on FMIC in the future.
